2026, 24 x 18ft, exterior latex paint
I had the pleasure and honor of designing and helping to install this mural for Buss Paints and the Emmaus Arts commission. Buss wanted to highlight the history of the town through the mural, showcasing significant locations to the town. Huge thanks to all of the volunteers who came out and helped to paint, and to Hattie Freye, without whom this mural wouldn’t have been possible. I learned so much from this project, and I’m so grateful for the experience!
The locations and highlights featured in the mural:
- Emmaus Moravian Church
- The Knauss Homestead
- Homage to Emmaus past and present as a freight hub of the Norfolk Southern East Penn Branch and the East Penn Railroad’s Perkiomen Line
- The 1803 House
- The Shelter House
- Homage to the history of the Rodale Institute in Emmaus
- Triangle Park Fountain
- The Emmaus Theater
- Pavilion at Emmaus Community Park
- Homage to Emmaus Farmers Market
